Matthew Gases

Corporate and Intellectual Property

Mr. Gases serves Paul Law Group primarily in the areas of corporate and intellectual property law. He has experience reviewing contracts, preparing and expediting stock and asset purchase transactions and the related documentation, and organizing and filing private corporate filings. He has also successfully filed several client trademarks and worked to enforce those trademarks globally. Mr. Gases has also drafted civil complaints, motions, and affidavits as part of the Firm's litigation practice.

Prior to joining Paul Law Group, Mr. Gases spent time at FilmNation Entertainment, an international film sales and distribution company, where he worked on a variety of media and intellectual property issues and gained familiarity with film licensing agreements, notices of assignment, and other related contracts. At Cowan, Debaets, Arahams & Sheppard, Mr. Gases researched contract and media law issues leading up to litigation and also worked reviewing talent acquisition and TV and film production contracts. Mr. Gases also spent time at Chanel, Inc. where he assisted in drafting form agreements for new construction projects and also worked extensively on protecting and enforcing the company's intellectual property rights.

Mr. Gases received his B.A. degree in Philosophy from The Pennsylvania State University in 2011 and his J.D. degree from Brooklyn Law School in 2014.
